Super nice guy too. Fun fact; my first experience hands on with Journe’s Line Sport was his watch. And that changed it all, once you held one of those in your hand it all made sense. That was the impetus for me eventually buying a CTS.

Only you know what will make you happy and that is the most important, after all. A couple of thoughts From a collecting perspective: If you are so lucky to have a Au CTS you have a keeper. If you let it go, my guess is it’s going to be difficult to find

CTS or Cut To Size straps are made to sell at a more economical price

As such, they are only customized to fit the watch case at the lugs. Personally, I don't mind them using the universal spring loaded clasp as I find transferring the OEM clasp to be a pain unless you want to keep using the Delugs strap somewhat permanentl

They call it CTS which I think means "Cut to Size"
